A message from the owner:
For over 20 years I have been providing DJ service at Iowa events. I have also worked at radio stations in Des Moines and Iowa City as a producer and DJ. During that time, I have come to greatly understand and appreciate the diversity of Iowa people. We are a unique group with a wide range of music and entertainment preferences. It is difficult to define any group at any event within a specific target. That is why Soundsations has been so successful. Soundsations provides music and entertainment that spans multiple groups whether rural or urban, young or old, high intensity or laid-back. Although we all have widely varied backgrounds that make us unique, at the end of the day music can be a common form that can bring people together for a fun-filled evening.

Our music library dates from the 1950’s to current hits and encompasses every music genre including rock, R & B and country to name a few. - Computerized lighting. You won’t find any plain old colored gel lighting at our dances. We use only computerized DJ lighting that throws a variety of colors and patterns on the dance floor while moving to the beat. Our basic package also includes the latest in LED lighting technology.
- Special effects that include strobe lighting and bubbles.
